Founded in 2007, American Day School was established with the objective of providing children with high-quality care and education. In 2009, the school expanded to include an infant program (ADS2) at its North Henry Street location. ADS3 commenced operations in 2012 on Oronoco Street, serving children aged 16 months to 6 years.
Operating year-round, American Day School offers comprehensive childcare solutions, meeting the needs of diverse families. All locations are centrally situated in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, within walking distance of the Braddock Road Metro Station and easily accessible by car from Route 1.
The school recognizes each child as an individual, and is committed to fostering a warm and nurturing environment that supports intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development.
American Day School provides services for infants as young as 8 weeks up to 6 years of age. Recognizing that every child learns differently, the curriculum is theme-based and incorporates both structured and unstructured activities, ensuring educational engagement and enjoyment.
